You've Been Invisible Long Enough.

If you fly formation, you already know the problem: the pilot behind you can't see you against a hazy sky. Your pattern position disappears. Your wingman compensates. The gap opens. And the audience on the ground? They see shapes, not a show.

At airshows, smoke is the difference between a performance and a flyover. It's what turns heads, fills grandstands, and makes the FAA waiver worth the paperwork. Without it, you're background noise.

But the real frustration isn't knowing you need smoke — it's finding a system you can trust. Most vendors sell you a box of parts and a phone number that goes to voicemail. You're left drilling holes in your fuselage based on a photocopied PDF and hoping you routed the lines right.

That's why we built Ace Aviation Supply. Every smoke system we sell was designed by certificated pilots, tested in aerobatic aircraft, and backed by real human support. Because when you're inverted at 200 feet, "good enough" doesn't cut it.

Engineered by Pilots

Every system is designed and tested by certificated pilots who actually fly aerobatics. We don't sell anything we wouldn't bolt onto our own aircraft.

American-Made Quality

Our smoke systems are manufactured in the USA using aircraft-grade materials. No corners cut, no overseas mystery metal.

Real Support, Real Fast

Call or email and talk to an actual pilot who knows your aircraft. No ticket queues, no chatbots, no three-day wait for a form letter.

What Pilots Are Saying

"The system arrived complete, well-packaged, and the install instructions were the clearest I've ever seen for an aviation product. Smoked on the first flight."

— Verified Ace Aviation Customer

"I called with a question about routing the lines in my Pitts and talked to an actual pilot who knew the airplane. That alone is worth the price of admission."

— Verified Ace Aviation Customer

"We switched our whole formation team to Ace systems last season. Consistent smoke, zero maintenance issues, and the audience response was night and day."

Frequently Asked Questions

What aircraft are your smoke systems compatible with?

Our systems are designed for aerobatic and experimental aircraft including Pitts Special, Extra 300, RV series, Decathlon, and many more. If you're unsure about fitment, contact us — we'll help you figure out the right setup for your specific airframe.

Do I need an A&P to install a smoke system?

For certified aircraft, installation must be performed or supervised by a certificated A&P mechanic and may require a 337 form. For experimental/amateur-built aircraft, the builder/owner can perform the installation. Either way, our detailed instructions and direct pilot support make the process straightforward.

What kind of smoke oil do your systems use?

Our systems are designed to work with standard aviation smoke oil (Corvus, Shell Ondina, or equivalent). We recommend Corvus oil for the best visibility and cleanest burn. Do not use automotive or diesel oils.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Standard ground shipping typically arrives in 3–5 business days within the continental US. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
